We are a business office conveniently located in the Fairview area supporting world-class radiologists working in BC and Alberta with a view to providing services worldwide. This role will be split between our business office and in Vancouver General Hospital, in the Medical Imaging Department. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the scheduling, credentialing, and other various administrative operations of Vancouver Imaging.
About the Position

Support the clinical fellowship for the department of radiology which includes
-
Providing administrative support for interviewing, onboarding, evaluations, and day-to-day communications

Assist with the creation and maintenance of the Emergency & Trauma Radiology Fellows’ schedule and Radiology Hospital Support Associate Schedule

Rounds Support: Help coordinate and organize radiology rounds, including preparing materials and ensuring smooth communication flow, and collection of data for billing purposes

Collect information for requesting consults

Ordering and stocking necessary supplies based for the department of radiology

Collect materials and coordinate completion of credentialing packages.

Various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, maintaining databases, assisting with registration requirements for radiologists.

Maintain effective relationships with Vancouver Coastal Health, the University of British Columbia, College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia, CMPA, Provincial Health Services Authority, Northern Health Authority, Interior Health Authority and private medical facilities.

Provide support to daily operations and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, skills and abilities

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work with discretion in preparation and handling information of a confidential or sensitive nature.

Attention to detail with high level of accuracy, multi-task, organize and set work priorities.

Ability to work both independently and as a team member.

Have strong organizational and proactive administrative skills.

Is flexible and proactive in suggesting improvements for workflow and efficiency.

Ability to exercise good judgement in recognizing scope of authority.

Experience with the healthcare industry is a bonus.
